'Atentar-se à Exclusão para Contribuir com a Inclusão'
The project, coordinated by Prof. Stella Maris da Cruz Bezerra, is carried out within the scope of the UTFPR in conjunction with two associations of informal recyclable material workers, towards effective actions for these workers’ social and economic inclusion, in the municipality of Almirante Tamandaré – metropolitan area of Curitiba.
First actions in 2014 triggered the current project, whose main objective is to exchange experiences and knowledge in proposing and implementing solutions to dignify the work of informal recyclers. Recently, in 2020, a significant achievement, representative of the articulation among various partnerships involved, was the signature of Terms of Collaboration between the associations and the city hall.
The project within the UTFPR environment is composed of scholarship-holder and volunteer students. Below are listed the main recent activities in which I get involved.
